Brad Reeves

Brad Reeves

Attorney/Partner

Brad primarily focuses his practice in the areas of real estate closings and business transactions, commercial leases, business entity formation, contracts and business law.  He has been involved in thousands of commercial and residential real property transactions and is often engaged by developers, lenders, buyers, sellers and borrowers. In addition to title and escrow, his practice involves all aspects of real estate, from the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, drafting legal instruments, rezoning, development and leasing.  Brad has also represented companies and individuals in commercial and business lawsuits, and has experience litigating real estate matters, contract disputes, evictions and property damage.

Brad attended Mississippi State University and majored in Management of Construction & Land Development.  He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board, Phi Delta Phi and a recipient of the Balfour Fellowship.  Brad has been an active member of the Mississippi Bar since his admission to practice.  He was selected to participate in the Mississippi Bar’s Leadership Forum, nominated by the Mississippi Supreme Court to serve on the Mississippi Bar Complaint Tribunal and elected by his peers to serve as President of the Young Lawyers Division and the Mississippi Bar Board of Commissioners.

In addition to the practice of law, Brad has been involved in various aspects of real estate and business.  He was a licensed real estate broker, certified as a Historic Real Estate Development Finance Professional (HREDFP) and, since 2008, has been an adjunct professor of Real Estate & Real Estate Law at Mississippi College.  Brad was awarded the “Best New Development Project” by the Mississippi Main Street Association and has been the owner of Brent’s Drugs in Fondren since 2009, along with the opening The Apothecary in 2013.

Brad has been involved with numerous organizations, including serving on the board of directors of the Land Title Association of Mississippi, Mississippi Main Street Association, Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership, Fondren Renaissance Foundation, Downtown Jackson Partners, New Stage Theater and Jackson Academy.  Brad served as National President of the MSU Alumni Association, President of the Mississippi Heritage Trust and was selected to 2011 Class of the Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40.  Brad is married to Dr. Mandy Armstrong Reeves and they live in Jackson with their children Caroline and Mason and attend Fondren Church.

Gretchen Gentry

In addition to being a co-owner of Covenant Title, Gretchen practices law at Reeves, Gentry & Vitart, PLLC in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She began her practice as a litigator but now focuses her practice primarily on real estate transactions and business mergers. She handles complicated multi-parcel commercial development projects as well as simple residential closings. She holds an AV Preeminent peer rating for the highest level of professional excellence from Martindale-Hubbell.

Gretchen is active in the community. She has served as an officer and on the board of directors for multiple 501 (c)(3) organizations. She is a graduate of Leadership Greater Jackson’s Class of 2012-13, where she served as a small group chair.

Gretchen graduated cum laude from University of Mississippi School of Liberal Arts. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1997. While in law school she was a Member of the Mississippi Law Journal, a member of Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity, and was awarded the Edith Waits Turley Memorial Scholarship.

Gretchen is married to a commercial real estate appraiser and MAI, Curtis A. Gentry, IV. They have two children, Emma and Cade. They enjoy supporting their children in their various activities and serving in their church.

Matthew Vitart

Matt Vitart is a partner of Reeves, Gentry & Vitart, PLLC and Covenant Title, LLC. Practicing in the areas of real estate and business transactions, Matt serves buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, developers, and landlords in both commercial and residential real estate transactions. He regularly serves as developer’s counsel for an array of real estate development projects, including the entitlements process.

He represents businesses and owners in a variety of corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and drafting, business formation, corporate governance, and dispute resolution.

In addition to his civilian practice, Matt serves as a Judge Advocate in the Mississippi Army National Guard where his current duty assignment is as the Brigade Judge Advocate for the 185th Combat Aviation Brigade. Matt holds an economics degree from Mississippi State University and a Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law, both with honors. Matt and his wife, Morgan, proudly parent two sons and three daughters. The family enjoys Mississippi State athletics and service at their church. In his free time, Matt enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, and snowboarding.

Neill Bryant

Neill has extensive experience in real estate acquisitions, sales, finance, development, zoning and land use, minerals, regulatory issues involving environmental concerns, etc. He has represented developers, landlords, tenants, state agencies, hospitals, REITs, and investors of all kinds. He has experience with CMBS transactions, PIDs (including litigation), LIHTCs, NMTCs, and years of extensive experience with title curative work including litigation as well as partitions, tax sale issues, and condominiums. He also has experience with residential and commercial subdivision development, eminent domain, right-of-way and railroad (utility and common carrier) matters, agricultural and recreational land (buying, selling, hunting clubs, leases, disputes, subsidies, etc.). Neill was a founding board member of the Land Title Association of Mississippi, a former vice president of the Tri-County Real Estate Lawyers Association, AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, listed for several years by Best Lawyers in land use, and as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.

Neill has a B.S. in political science from Mississippi College, a masters degree in theology from Reformed Theological Seminary, and a J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law.

Jay was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and the University of Mississippi School of Law. He is known for his commitment to excellence and community involvement. He is an active member of Galloway United Methodist Church. He is an Eagle Scout who has devoted countless hours to the Boys Scouts of America, including serving as the former President Andrew Jackson Council, Boy Scouts of America and longtime Scoutmaster Troop 1 sponsored by St James and St Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral. He and his wife, Martha, have three children, Jack, Campbell and Collins.

Amy transitioned from banking to the world of real estate in 2020. Her main focus lies in residential closings. Her favorite aspect of her job is building strong relationships with realtors and clients.

Originally from Carroll County, Amy now calls Canton home, where she lives with her husband, Johnny. Their children, Will and Maddie, have flown the nest. She finds joy in simple things, such as flower gardening, enjoying a cup of hot tea, or snuggling with her dog.

Christy has worked as a real estate paralegal for over 20 years in the Madison area. She has developed lasting relationships with many realtors all over the state and lenders across the U.S. She primarily handles residential and commercial closing transactions.

Christy resides in Flora, Mississippi with her husband Mike and three children Mary Blair, Brady and Meredith. She attends First Baptist Church of Madison.

Closing Supervisor/Title Operations Officer

Randa has worked in numerous aspects of the real estate business in the Jackson area for over 35 years. She started out in the lending sector where she assisted with loan processing. Then moved into handling residential closing transactions and later transitioned into title abstracting operations statewide.

Randa primarily handles commercial and residential closing transactions and administrative operations.

Randa resides in Terry, Mississippi with her husband Jerry and two sons, Joseph and James. She loves the outdoors and is very active in community work with Jehovah’s Witnesses.
